The Facebook posting record tells it all, beginning last night?
David Pulling . . .
endures the 10:00 AC 360 rerun on CNN, hoping for happy flying weather Saturday and wishing tomorrow evening were this evening. . .
Then on to Saturday morning hanging out at the hotel, waiting for the cab . . .
is having a hurry up and wait morning, ready to go but going nowhere fast. . .
And one more little step closer . . .
continues his hurry up and wait routine, having moved from hotel lobby to airport but still going nowhere fast: what a waste of Saturday! . . .
And a little more progress:
just watched the plane from Houston land, that will turn around and take him back one step closer 2 home, but hurry up and wait remains the norm for the morn.
Those posts stretch out over all of Saturday. Eventually, of course, I made it to Lafayette, although Continental managed to lose my baggage, at least temporarily (the bag showed up in Lafayette on the next flight, 30 minutes later).
But I did get home in time to enjoy supper with Sarah and Ann, followed by mowing the grass followed by the family taking the dogs to campus. It’s nice to be home, and thank God for Daylight Savings Time, which enables us to do so much more with the ones we love!
