I enjoyed LSU’s upset of Alabama from the comfort of my living room this afternoon, but I was gratified from time to time as the network showed the high-up views of Tiger Stadium that all of my kids were among that throng–Zach, Autumn, and Ann.
At my middle-age-plus, the living room seating is just right. But for the younger ones, what can surpass the energy and spirit of Tiger Stadium? I’m happy for the kids.
And I’m happy for LSU and all of us.
Life is good when we win.

Too bad the man behind us ruined our experience by throwing up the whole first half and we had to leave at half time! We enjoyed listening to it on the radio and watching the last few minutes of the glorious win on TV though. Were thinking maybe were getting too old for it to, ha!
I keep waiting on the beloved patrons of LSU football to come up to one of the five stadium seatback booths I manage and puke all over my volunteers. Being a 22 year EMT (the last 15 as a paramedic with over 25 years in public safety), I can handle it. However, I don’t think the students (with their parents helping) would appreciate it at all. #1 in the nation for tailgating they say… I believe it. Probably right up there with Mardi Gras!
